About ISACO
ISACO is a mission-driven standards initiative that publishes versioned standards, methods, and tools that organizations can adopt to strengthen internal processes and external credibility. ISACO is not a nonprofit; we do not accept donations. Activities are funded by fee-for-service work and reinvested into standards development, research, and training.

Implementation support: Organizations receive mapping guides and migration notes for version changes.
Drafting and review: Standards are written for operational use, piloted with design partners, and refined through structured feedback.
Version control: Each release (e.g., BQS v1.0, v1.1) includes a changelog, effective date, and sunset period for older versions.
Governance & Integrity
Decision rights: Operational decisions remain with ISACO (Atlantic Global Network LLC).
Honorary Advisory Council (HAC): A non-fiduciary council of experienced professionals offering non-binding advice on standards direction and public trust.
Policies: Conflicts of Interest, Ethics, Appeals & Feedback Handling, Data Protection, and Use-of-Name/Mark rules.
Independence & Use of Funds
ISACO operates on a fee-for-service basis (guidance, training, and assessments as applicable). Fees support auditor competence development, research, and the maintenance of standards and tools. Surplus is reinvested; no donations are solicited or accepted.
